#510 - Project Managers as Strategic Enablers 🎤/ 🎬

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Is the project management role at your company perceived as an administrative function, limited to project reporting and monitoring? Would you like to shift the view of your role as project manager to that of an enabler of your organization’s vision and strategy? The project management role can be the key to strategy realization, but there are three critical areas a project manager must master to be perceived as a strategic enabler. Through shared experiences from the University of Rochester Medical Center's IT Strategy & Innovation department, you will begin thinking about how to make your own strategic mindset shift.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to: (1) Describe skills that project managers must master to drive strategy forward within their organizations; (2) Apply strategic elements in a personal growth road map.
