Russell Teasley is currently a professor of management and international business with the Mike Cottrell College of Business at the University of North Georgia (UNG). Before joining UNG in 2004, he taught as a graduate professor of project management at Western Carolina University. Dr. Teasley's academic experience includes a PhD of Management and International Business from the University of South Carolina, a master's degree in project management from Western Carolina University, and a bachelor's degree in engineering operations from North Carolina State University. His professional experiences include commercialization and business start-up consultant, project coordinator for the international Intelligent Manufacturing Systems research consortium, a researcher at the Tokyo University’s Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, project manager for Department of Energy’s summer Institute of Technology Transfer at the Savannah River Federal Laboratory, and property development contractor.
